Breast Augmentation-Our Patient Approach

As in all aesthetic surgeries, I conduct a personalized examination, evaluation and planning for patients who come to our clinic with the problem of “small breast”.

First of all, I listen to the patient’s complaints and expectations and take notes. I’ll inspect later. I understand the deformity of the breasts. I take pictures of the patient’s chest. With the help photos, I talk about all the details of the surgery to be performed with the patient. Considering the patient’s expectations, examination results, and anatomical variables, I decide together what size implants are to be used. I provide information about what the patient should do before and after the surgery.

I describe possible complications. Patients generally enter the clinic with a pile of questions, but forget to ask many of them during the consultation. For this reason, I want my patients to bring the questions they want to ask before the surgery by writing them down on a piece of paper. Again, we give an information form to the patients we make an appointment with.

I want them to read this form in detail and write down the questions that come to their minds. I refer my patients, who I think have sufficient knowledge about surgery and who decide to have surgery, to my assistant for pricing and appointments.
